Pony rod is a short sucker rod with random length, and its steel chemical composition & mechanical properties and the rod diameter, dimensions and tolerance & grade types are the same as that of sucker rods. The pony rods Standard lengths: 2ft(0.61m), 4ft(1.22m), 6ft(1.83m), 8ft(2.44m), 10ft(3.05m) and 12ft(3.66m).Other lengths are also available on special order. We just list some type most often used for your reference.
They are conform to API 11B standard. And the package are iron frame with black anti-corrosion coating.
